The “UCS-SK8” Skateboard
In 2019, around the same time PACLOCK launched into Home Depot and retail, we pulled off a one-of-a-kind collaboration with LockPickingLawyer and Braille Skateboarding. LockPickingLawyer came to us asking if we could make something special for his collab with the Braille team.
We went above and beyond and built an entire skateboard out of locks: the “UCS-SK8,” the world’s first and only “independent locking wheel” skateboard. The board featured 10 removable locks, each operable with keys. I illustrated and designed the deck graphics, as well as the engravings for the padlock pucks (the wheels) and trucks.
This project became a mash-up of the locksport and skateboarding communities, a fun and innovative build that showcased PACLOCK’s creativity and precision machining in a completely new way.
